NEWS: Waymo has announced that they completed over 14 million paid Robotaxi trips in 2025, and that they are on track to hit 1 million rides per week by the end of 2026. Waymo: "We are on track to exceed 20 million lifetime trips by the end of 2025: "Riders enjoyed over 3.8 million hours in their own trusted space to catch up on work, have a judgement-free conversation, or simply relax. With our all-electric fleet, Waymo riders helped avoid over 18 million kilograms of CO2 emissions* – 3x more than last year. And we accomplished these milestones all while delivering on our safety commitment – achieving more than a 10-fold reduction in serious injury or worse crashes compared to human drivers." Waymo added that they are currently laying the early groundwork for ride-hailing operations in over 20 additional cities in 2026, including international cities like Tokyo and London. Starting today, riders who’ve taken at least three trips this year can look back on their travels and check their own Year in Review numbers.
